KABALIKAT CIVICOM BAGUIO CHAPTER ATTENDED THE FINAL MEETING ON SUMVAC 2010 OPERATION

Seems all systems go for security measures during the Holy Week in this SUMMER CAPITAL OF THE PHILIPPINES as thousands of tourists and visitors are expected to troop here and spend the five-day Holy Week break.

Volunteerism here in Baguio City is alive and active as the City Disaster Coordinating Council Conducted the final meeting late afternoon today March 26, 2010 for SUMVAC operation this year.

Agenda talked about includes: Acknowledgement of Participants, Updates on the letter of intent, Reports of Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) with their operational plans, Problems on power supply in area of responsibility (AOR) answered by BENECO, Cleanliness drive, and other matters.

Just like the past years, the KABALIKAT CIVICOM-BAGUIO CITY CHAPTER wholeheartedly participated the SUMVAC to show the real meaning of volunteerism especially to this kind of occasions. The letter of intent and confirmation has been filed ang confirmed
Our Area of Responsibility comprises Camp John Hay Rotonda as our Comand post and part of DPS Compound, South Drive, Green Water, Military Cut-off until the entrance going to Hillside and Scout barrio Subdivision Station 4.
SUMVAC will start March 28, 2010. Number coding is suspended until May 14, 2010.
